Photos: Ladybirds at lunch

Just to clarify, I didn’t eat any ladybirds for lunch, I merely took photos of them during my lunch break. These were in the same location as yesterday so could even be the same subjects that I photographed before. Today I was able to adjust the camera settings to how I wanted them, to give much better results I think. As always, click the image to get a bigger version.

I am off to Devon for a few days with good weather forecast, so there should be plenty of opportunity for some good photos. Anyone who knows me, or reads this website, will be shocked to know that I’ve had this camera for almost a year now. I’ll admit that I have regular thoughts of getting a DSLR again, or one of the many compact system cameras on the market, and even maybe a Panasonic LX5 again. However, I’ve stuck with my Panasonic TZ10 and I’ve been very pleased with it. For someone who has such varied photographic interests like myself it’s probably better to stick with an all in one like this, at least until I win the lottery and have enough money to buy the multitude of expensive lenses I’d need for anything more advanced.
