It’s very strange to be going out during my lunch break in March, into 22 degrees centigrade temperatures, but very nice. I think it’s a little early for much bug activity down by the canal near to where I work, certainly not the great dragonflies and bees I got to photograph last year. Still, I did manage to get this nice shot of a hoverfly that was basking in the sunlight. Be sure to click the photo to enlarge and see more detail and the vibrant colours.
