When taking this photo I had left the flash set to fire by mistake, and then took a second photo with the flash off. However, upon looking at the image in Photoshop, and with a little editing, I realised the better photo was taken with the flash on. I sometimes forget that a flash can be used to reduce light as well as improve it, depending on the conditions.
